PAL Robotics creates disruptive service robots that aim to enhance society’s quality of life. Since 2004, the company develops service and humanoid robots for institutions and companies worldwide. Robots like the biped humanoids Kangaroo or TALOS, or the mobile manipulator TIAGo, are being used for research purposes, to develop applications in areas such as Assisted Living, Human-Robot Interaction, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, Industry 4.0 or Smart Cities. Other PAL Robotics platforms help optimizing resources by automating tasks such as intralogistics deliveries, with the customizable TIAGo Base, or automating stock-taking in retail stores using StockBot. PAL Robotics also cooperates with other European partners through EU-funded projects in all kinds of fields, with the overall goal of boosting innovation through collaboration.
I’ve spent the past two decades pushing the boundaries of service robotics and driving innovation to transform industries in PAL Robotics. I’ve had the privilege of leading a team that’s redefining what robots can do for research, retail, healthcare, and beyond.
Being named CEO of the Year in Robotics in 2024 by European CEO is a milestone I’m incredibly proud of, but it’s just one step in a long journey of hard work.
My mission remains the same: creating technology that makes a difference in people’s lives through the best robots ever! https://www.linkedin.com/in/francesco-ferro-88791a1/
