Dependability is of paramount importance in many applications, and a challenge in the design of low-power embedded networks and systems. Satisfying the stringent quality-of-service requirement needs efficient and smart design of the whole network, from the design of low-power radio transceivers to the whole communication protocol stack. Nabi’s focus of research includes mechanisms for efficient protocol stacks, network modeling and optimization, as well as techniques for power-efficient baseband processor design. Nabi has applied his research in the healthcare and wellness, automotive, and environment monitoring applications.
