My organisation
About me
I am a biotechnologist from the University of Cadiz. I specialized in the branch of biotechnological industries because of my interest in the processes of transformation of raw materials into compounds of high added value from cutting-edge scientific biotechnological tools. For this reason, I completed a master's degree in environmental, industrial and food biotechnology at the Pablo de Olavide University (Seville), specializing in the environmental branch. I have always been interested in the use of biological tools to carry out the bioremediation of contaminated areas. Once I finished my master's degree, I did my PhD within the program of materials science and sustainable processes. The thesis focused on the development of heterogeneous catalysts for obtaining high added value compounds from the hydrogenation of furfural. Currently, I am an R&D technician in the chemical recycling cell of AIMPLAS, working in different laboratory tasks, project preparation, project execution and meeting coordination.
