At its core, Plan4all focuses on aggregating extensive open datasets pertinent to various planning sectors such as spatial/urban planning, rural development, transport, environment, tourism, and precision/autonomous farming. The organization is committed to ensuring that these open data are not only easily accessible for reuse but also consistently maintained and improved in quality. As an umbrella organization, Plan4all brings together a diverse network of more than 60 partners from 22 countries, including public bodies, universities, research organizations, and business entities. The association is a recognized member of several key global initiatives and consortia, such as the Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN), the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA). Additionally, Plan4all is a Participating Organization in the Group on Earth Observation (GEO).
