Tuncay Kamas

He is an expert in smart structures, solid mechanics and finite element analysis as well as metal forming dynamic analysis. During his Ph.D., he had studied structural health monitoring techniques such as E/M impedance and Guided strain waves generated by piezoelectric active sensors.

During his R&D Center Directorship duties in various sectors and companies, he has high budget TÜBİTAK ARDEB, TEYDEB and KOSGEB project applications approved. He applies for engineering designs, analyses and national R&D funds for industrial applications in metal processing and forming fields. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Selçuk University, his MS in Clemson University and his PhD from the University of South Carolina.
