About me

Pierre-Yves Fonjallaz is programme manager for EPFL’s Research Office and delegate of Swissphotonics for the French-speaking part of Switzerland. PhD at EPFL in fibre Bragg grating technology in 1995. 23 years in Stockholm working for KTH, RISE and PhotonicSweden which he has founded in 2011. Back to EPFL (and Swissphotonics) since 2018. He supports EPFL researchers with EU collaborative projects and promotes photonics in Romandy, Switzerland and Europe.
