SystemX is a French Institute of Technological Research founded in 2012 by a pool of industrial and academic members in order to fasten the industry digital transformation. The Institute focuses on complex systems and systems of systems in the fields of “widespread industry 4.0”, “autonomous transport and mobility”, “defence and cybersecurity” and “health and sustainable systems”. SystemX supports its partners digital transformation by: • Building collaborative and collocated research projects fueled by its industrial and academic human resources which are doubled by SystemX own resources: more than 50 projects launched in 8 years, 25 ongoing ones, which involves 120 full time equivalent among SystemX’ resources. • Valorizing all the acquired knowledge through software and hardware platforms which can be reused and mutualized by SystemX in research projects • Animating targeted technological ecosystems via specific actions (e.g. Start@SystemX), workshops, scientific conferences • Piloting public-private accompaniment initiatives in order to help selected industrial sectors to tackle today’s challenges (e.g. SAAS Academy, SIMSEO) • Holding scientific co-chairs (e.g. Centrale Supelec / SystemX Anthropolis Chair) focusing on human centered urban mobility. • Always improving its own project building method based on impact first mindset. Based on a strategic balanced public private partnership, IRT SystemX is a non-profit organization focusing on research activities.
