About

Our interdisciplinary research spans complex systems, including infrastructure resilience, geophysics, climate science, physiology, medicine, and biology.

Prof. Havlin has published over 800 scientific papers and is one of Israel’s most cited researchers, with more than 125,000 citations and an h-index of 156 (Google Scholar). His pioneering contributions have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the Lilienfeld Prize (American Physical Society), the Rothschild Prize, the Order of the Star of Italy, the Israel Prize in Physics and Chemistry, and the Bakhuis Rooseboom Medal (2023).

Leveraging our expertise in data science, physics, and network theory, we are actively seeking collaborative opportunities in the following areas:

  1. Climate science and geophysical systems

  2. Social networks and extreme events

  3. Physiology and medical systems

  4. Biology, with emphasis on aging and complex regulation

  5. Traffic systems and smart city dynamics

  6. Critical phenomena and phase transitions in complex systems
