Fito lab mikrobilje

Fito Lab is an early-stage agrifood initiative based in Serbia, focused on the controlled cultivation of premium microgreens and the future development of plant-based value-added products. The project is currently in the testing and validation phase, exploring cultivation parameters such as substrates, lighting regimes, irrigation and other growing conditions in order to develop a reliable small-scale production model.

Fito Lab combines a science-informed and process-oriented approach with a strong commitment to sustainable production, product quality and careful small-batch handling. The long-term vision is to build a premium agrifood concept that begins with fresh microgreens and gradually expands into products such as cereal grass powders, microgreens powders and fresh spelt grass juice.

The initiative is led by a founder with more than 20 years of experience in developing and managing complex IT systems in a large organisation. This background brings strengths in precision, quality control, process management and long-term planning, which are now applied to agrifood production. Fito Lab is particularly interested in controlled environment agriculture, horticulture, sustainable food production and practical innovation for small-scale growing systems.
