The Association for Economic Development REDAH is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, established in 2003 to support sustainable regional development through multi-stakeholder cooperation and implementation of innovative solutions.
REDAH brings together key regional actors, including municipalities, public institutions, private sector representatives and civil society organizations, and acts as a platform for co-creation, coordination and implementation of development initiatives, particularly in rural and peripheral areas.
The organization has extensive experience in EU-funded programmes (IPA, Interreg, Erasmus+) and is increasingly engaged in Horizon Europe-related activities, with a strong focus on applied innovation, pilot implementation and stakeholder-driven approaches. REDAH operates at the intersection of policy, innovation and real-life application, ensuring that solutions are tested, validated and transferable.
REDAH’s core expertise is aligned with Horizon Europe Cluster 6 priorities, including sustainable agriculture, climate change adaptation, circular bioeconomy, rural innovation and digital transformation. The organization has developed and implemented practical tools such as the AgroLife digital platform for farm management, supported by a network of agrometeorological stations, enabling data-driven decision-making and real-time monitoring in agriculture.
A key strength of REDAH lies in its capacity to implement Living Lab approaches and multi-actor engagement methodologies, involving farmers, SMEs, public authorities and research institutions in co-creation processes. Through ongoing projects such as HERUDNET, CROSSMART and THEMATIC2GREEN, REDAH is actively contributing to the development of innovation ecosystems and climate-resilient solutions in the Western Balkans.
Within Horizon Europe projects, REDAH typically acts as a pilot implementation partner, Living Lab facilitator, and stakeholder engagement leader, providing access to real-life testing environments, end-users and regional networks. Its territorial coverage and strong links with local communities ensure effective validation and scalability of proposed solutions.
REDAH offers a unique combination of operational capacity, digital tools, stakeholder networks and pilot territories, making it a reliable partner for the design, testing and replication of innovative solutions addressing rural development, climate challenges and sustainable food systems.
