At Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University (TeSaU), located in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia, we conduct applied research in agriculture, environmental sciences, and sustainable rural development. Our work focuses on viticulture and horticulture, sustainable land and soil management, biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and the resilience of rural and mountain ecosystems.

TeSaU collaborates closely with local farmers, agri-food producers, and regional authorities, providing a strong living laboratory for testing innovative solutions in sustainable agriculture and bioeconomy. Our researchers combine field-based studies, laboratory analysis, and socio-economic research to support the transition toward climate-resilient and resource-efficient farming systems.

We are actively seeking partners for Horizon Europe Cluster 6 projects in the areas of sustainable agriculture and food systems, biodiversity and ecosystem restoration, climate adaptation, rural development, and knowledge transfer in the Eastern European and South Caucasus context.
