Province of Liege - European Fundings Unit

The Province of Liege is an intermediate public authority (84 municipalities – 1,1 billion inhabitants) active at European level. Via its European Fundings Unit, it plays a key role in leveraging, managing, and promoting EU funding opportunities to support the socio-economic development of the provincial territory.

Main missions:

• Expertise in EU-funded projects management in several programmes and in different fields (agriculture, sustainable development, ecological. transition, training for security and emergency services, …).

• Representation in consultation bodies and networks at regional, national, and European levels (IIS WASABI, Cluster Tweed, Energy Cities, EFUS, EGCT EUREGIO MEUSE RHINE, etc);
