About
Food production is responsible for 25-33% of carbon emissions and the majority of biodiversity loss. Yet the science we use to measure the environmental impact of food remains oversimplified. As a result it takes us a long time compare the impacts of bio (organically) farmed products with conventionally farmed ones, or the impacts of food produced in different countries around the world. Ecobite aims to bridge the gaps between research and shelves by solving the underlying problems in our environmental impact models, and using the results of this research to support farms, brands, governments and other organisations to discover and reduce the impacts of their farming and food.
