European Marine Science Educators Association

EMSEA is a network of marine (science) educators, representing academia, researchers, NGO's, compagnies, formal (schools) and informal (science) education institutes, engaged to increase ocean literacy in society.

As experts in blue education, we work on grand-funded projects, develop training and do capacity building. A large part of our work is aimed to schools, as coordinators of the Network of European Blue Schools.

We support our members by sharing good practices and collaboration opportunities through our annual international networking  conferences. Our EMSEA regional groups also organise events and provide ways for the network to connect on a sea basin level.
