BaSS – Biodiversity and Sustainability Solutions is an innovation-driven company working at the intersection of science, policy, and industry. We specialise in developing practical, evidence-based solutions that help organisations transition toward nature-positive, climate-resilient, and circular business models.

Our work spans biodiversity assessment, sustainable resource management, and circular economy applications, ensuring that cutting-edge research is translated into tools and strategies that deliver real-world impact. BaSS combines advanced monitoring methods, ecological expertise, and data-driven analytics to support clients ranging from companies and public agencies to NGOs and international partners.

We design and implement programmes that integrate field ecology with innovative approaches to sustainability. Our international work includes the Smallholder Black Soldier Fly programme in Madagascar, where we co-develop frass-based soil improvement solutions and circular income strategies for rural communities. We also collaborate on large-scale insect monitoring initiatives and contribute to policy-relevant biodiversity frameworks across Europe.
