About
Community Center for Development (CCD NGO) is a leading non-profit organization in Armenia working to strengthen the resilience, innovation capacity and socio-economic development of border communities, particularly in the Noyemberyan region of Tavush. Since its establishment, CCD has implemented a wide range of international development projects with partners from the EU, USA, and regional networks, focusing on community capacity-building, youth empowerment, digital transformation, agritech innovation, and local economic growth.
CCD leads the Smart Noyemberyan initiative, a multi-year program that develops community-based innovation labs, youth centers, training hubs, and entrepreneurship support mechanisms across 19 rural settlements. The organization actively cooperates with local authorities, educational institutions, SMEs, and diaspora partners to co-create sustainable solutions that address local needs through evidence-based planning and inclusive participation.
Our thematic priorities include:
• community development and resilience
• youth skills, innovation, and digital education
• sustainable agriculture and agritech
• social entrepreneurship and SME support
• cross-border cooperation and EU partnerships
• capacity-building, research, and policy engagement
CCD participates in Horizon Europe calls as a motivated partner with strong regional networks, field access, and implementation capacity in border and rural communities. We are open to joining consortia working on rural innovation, community competitiveness, agri-food systems, digital skills, circular bioeconomy, and nature-based solutions.
