Algaria, founded in 2017, is an innovative company leveraging the research of its founders to create the first continuous, non-seasonal microalgae production plant utilizing waste heat from cogeneration plants. This pioneering facility launched Algaria's journey as a technology provider, focused on advancing microalgae production. From the beginning, the company has prioritized addressing sustainability challenges by advancing technology to improve resource efficiency, measuring carbon footprint, and ensuring the sustainability of our final products, such as organic spirulina. Innovating and industrializing our processes to optimize costs and increase competitiveness, we developed the e-biopond process, which allows the recycling of spent mediums and food industry by-products, utilizing their nutrient and water content in microalgae cultivation.
