CGFP Sp. z o.o.

CGFP Ltd. is an innovative farm located in north-central Poland with crop production of more than 6000 ha and driven toward sustainable environmental and socio-economic development. We focus on climate change adaptation, soil health and sustainability. Since 2014 we have developed precision agriculture solutions and use advanced technologies for precise sowing, fertilization and plant protection. We grow wheat, maize, rapeseed, barley, sunflower, protein crops and cover crops.

Permanent grasslands cover about 1000 ha and most of them are located in Natura 2000 areas.

Our activities also include milk production based on heard of 200 cows. Milk produced is directly processed on the farm into high quality cheeses and other dairy products. We also produce carp in natural way on 400 ha of water reservoirs located on Natura 2000 sites. Part of our production is processed in our own fish processing plant.

The feed we produce ourselves from our own crops.

We were the leader of the EIP-AGRI Operational Group (https://projektsfcftf.cgfp.pl) innovation project funded under CAP, currently we are partner in an international project funded under ERA-NET Cofund ICT-AGRI-FOOD.  Our team members also have experience in horizontal projects.

Our priorities:

• Development of carbon and nutrient efficient agriculture

• Water retention in soil and agricultural landscape

• Integration of environmental data and water management based on IT tools, sensors and infrastructure, mathematical modelling and AI

• Use of IoT and remote sensing technics as a support for agro-environmental monitoring and decision making

• Nature-based circular economy activities to avoid losses

• Testing tools to support the resilience of farms to climate change

As partner in a project consortium we would be happy to contribute by exchanging and sharing our experiences and knowledge that we have gained and beyond by applying diverse innovations. We are also interested in offering our farm/fields to experiment/test and demonstrate innovative solutions developed by other partners and other projects for improving sustainability performance of farming systems.
