The Alicante Science Park (PCA) is the innovation ecosystem of the University of Alicante, created to foster knowledge transfer, the creation and scaling of science-based and technology-driven companies, and effective university–industry collaboration. PCA hosts more than 50 innovative companies and spin-offs with strong capabilities in biodiversity, circular economy, bioeconomy, environmental digitalisation and sustainability. This positioning enables PCA to act as a multi-actor innovation hub, aggregating SMEs, research groups, public authorities and territorial stakeholders to design, test and scale solutions aligned with Horizon Europe Cluster 6 priorities on biodiversity, ecosystem restoration, circularity, green transition and resilient communities.PCA coordinates SME involvement and provides micro-grants to local innovators.
