Farrelly Mitchell would act as the feasibility and scale-up partner, supporting objectives related to “promoting start-ups and innovative SMEs”, “reducing post-harvest food losses and waste following circular approaches”, and ensuring approaches are “ready for scale-up.” FM would lead targeted activities on business model assessment, cost-effectiveness and scalability analysis for selected processing innovations and SME concepts supported through the project, complementing training and mentoring actions delivered by other partners. This contribution would be underpinned by FM’s offices in Accra and Nairobi and its extensive experience and networks across Africa, supporting context-appropriate, investable pathways aligned with EU Global Gateway and FNSSA priorities.
