Local Textiles Hub Infrastructure and Technology

London-based partner/demonstrator seeking consortium.

This project seeks to pilot local infrastructure for the collection, sorting and preparation of post-consumer textiles to support reuse and remanufacture. It focuses on improving the quality and usability of collected textiles and strengthening connections to local end-markets.

Activities include testing improved collection approaches, trialling local sorting hubs with supporting technology, and enabling collaboration between reuse and remanufacture businesses.

The project aims to complement emerging national systems while unlocking local economic, skills and environmental benefits, creating models that can be adapted across European cities and regions.
