About

Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and Corvinus University of Budapest are leading Hungarian research universities with strong capacity to contribute to Horizon Europe WIDERA 2026 actions. Together, they offer complementary excellence in fundamental and applied research, social sciences, governance, innovation management and policy analysis.

ELTE brings strong disciplinary research capacities, research infrastructure and international scientific networks, while Corvinus contributes expertise in institutional transformation, research management, innovation ecosystems, stakeholder engagement and policy-oriented research. Both universities have experience in capacity building, networking, mentoring, dissemination, and strengthening research and innovation performance, making them well suited for Teaming, Twinning, ERA Chairs, Excellence Hubs and other WIDERA instruments.
