HORIZON-CL6-2026-01-CIRCBIO-9: AI-Driven Water-Smart Bioeconomy: Circular Value Chains from Wastewater Recovery
EU Project Management & Team Leadership at WeDigital at Wedigital
Athens, Greece
About
We are proposing a "Water-Smart Bioeconomy" model to unlock sustainable value chains by balancing food security and climate goals. Our concept combines AI-driven digital twins with advanced bioprocesses to optimise resource recovery from wastewater. Specifically, we aim to transform liquid waste into high-value bio-based inputs (e.g., algae for feed/fertilizer) using pilot-scale demonstrators.
This approach creates a closed-loop system that quantifies biodiversity benefits and economic viability through digital monitoring.
What Wedigital brings to the consortium:.
-
Dissemination & Communication (DEC): We lead DEC Work Packages with a strong portfolio in Cluster 6.
-
Exploitation: We manage exploitation strategies and business modelling to ensure market uptake.
-
Proposal Writing: We actively co-write the Impact and Excellence sections to ensure a winning submission.
