About
Our Citizen Science activity focuses on developing tools and methods to support active citizen engagement through citizen science activities. From the range of available open-source tools and applications designed for citizen interaction, we will select and integrate those that best meet the needs of the sites. The selected tools will engage local communities in nature-related activities, such as crowdsourced species identification, wildlife observations, detection of water pollution, and reporting of environmental issues. In addition to raising environmental awareness, the data generated through these citizen science tools will directly support biodiversity monitoring and contribute to assessing the ecological status of wetlands. We are seeking partners experienced in citizen science, digital tool integration, biodiversity assessment, and community engagement to collaborate within Horizon Europe.
