HORIZON-CL6-2026-01-BIODIV-05 Advancing integrated scenarios and prediction models for informing transition to a nature positive society

Description – We offer

·         An IAM and CGE-based modelling suite capable of linking land-use, climate and economic dynamics across sectors and regions.

·         Scenario analysis of nature-positive pathways, quantifying GDP, employment, public finance and sectoral/regional winners and losers.

·         Tools for distributional analysis and policy evaluation (e.g. incentives for nature-based solutions, land-use regulation, biodiversity finance).

·         Experience in producing policy-ready scenario outputs and translating complex model results into accessible indicators and narratives.

Description – We are looking for

·         A coordinator with strong expertise in biodiversity and ecosystem modelling, land-use and conservation science, ideally connected to IPBES/IPCC processes.

·         Partners covering environmental data, remote sensing and ecosystem services, as well as governance and stakeholder engagement.

·         Business and finance partners interested in using nature-positive scenarios for strategy, disclosure and risk management.

Preferred role

Prometeia would co-design integrated narratives and quantitative socio-economic pathways, lead or co-lead a work package on socio-economic scenarios, and support synthesis and policy recommendations with robust economic evidence, without acting as coordinator.
