About
We replace the Haber-Bosch process with an organic, sustainable method for fixing atmospheric nitrogen to produce ammonia and alternative protein. A cyanobacterium strain that does both nitrogen fixation and carbon capture, embedding an ammonia/protein factory with a photosynthesis “solar farm”, in a 2-micron filament of cells.
Over the last years, we worked on the engineering required to develop the photobioreactors. We scaled up the technology, building a robust commercial-size PBR with the required automation.
Our team brings together over 24 years of global experience in Ag-Tech R&D, business development, microbiology, food science, control systems, automation, sensor technology, and software engineering. We have led the engineering efforts behind the development of advanced photobioreactors (PBRs) and, in recent years, focused on scaling up the technology. This work has culminated in the creation of robust, commercial-scale PBR systems equipped with sophisticated automation and control solutions.
Biomass production of 1/3 g/ litter/day, with only natural sunlight. A 3,100 m3, 2.5 Ha PBR will produce: 375 tons of biomass per year, or 260 tons of alternative protein concentrate, or 3.4 tons of ammonia (Bio-Ammonia)– enough organic fertiliser for 30 hectares of greenhouses.
Economical, substantial, and cost-efficient production of alternative protein and biofertilizers using novel, automated photobioreactor technology, based on nitrogen fixation. 3rd Generation farming – the ultimate desert farming with top-level engineering.
