Partner offer: Living labs for co-creating solutions for the restoration of ecosystems

GBC is a relevant partner for projects requiring biodiversity assessment and/or biodiversity monitoring, providing information on species richness and functionality through eDNA technology. We can deliver full scan or targeted species detection (e.g. invasive species, protected species, umbrella species).

For topic HORIZON-CL6-2026-01-BIODIV-01-two-stage: Living labs for co-creating solutions for the restoration of ecosystems, a way to assess whether nature is being restored is through biodiversity assessment to be performed before and after interventations, i.e., restoration measures, to evaluate its success. So we can contribute to "establish tools for each living lab to allow for an accurate assessment of the conditions and to monitor progress towards the objectives";"monitor and carry out an assessment of both the effectiveness of innovative practices for ecosystem restoration and for their non-deterioration".
