About
Innovation and Development ltd is a development-oriented organization based in Rijeka and Zagreb, Croatia, focused on fostering sustainable innovation at the intersection of circular economy, digital transformation, and regional development. We specialize in designing and implementing forward-looking projects that support smart, resilient communities—especially in the fields of bioeconomy, green transition, and sustainable food and resource systems.
With a proven track record in EU-funded initiatives such as WAS2GROW, ProBioTech, and ZEVinnovation, our team works on turning complex sustainability challenges into practical, scalable solutions. Our experience spans the valorisation of bio-waste, promotion of renewable energy models, development of green business ecosystems, and hands-on support for pilot and demonstration actions across different sectors.
In current and future initiatives, we continue to explore how digital tools—particularly those enabling data-driven decision-making—can support more circular, low-carbon development in tourism, agriculture, and local public services. We focus on impactful, replicable solutions aligned with European strategies such as the Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan.
At our core, we are a hub for sustainable idea development—connecting knowledge, innovation, and action.
