About
The Institute has more than 85 years of experience in hydraulic engineering. Our team of experts collaborates with academia, industry, and governmental organizations to tackle water-related challenges. Our projects have covered the following areas of civil and academic research: civil engineering hydraulics, physical and numerical hydraulic modelling, analyses for hydro-power plant projects and sediment transport modelling. We also do environmental investigations of river regulation works aimed at habitat improvement, flood risk assessment and analysis, river renaturation, ecological connectivity and fish pass design, mitigation of the consequences of climate change, and field measurements, both in Slovenia and abroad.
