The Association Baltic Coasts was founded in 2007, uniting qualified specialists, scientists and experts from various fields, creating a versatile, mutually complementary team. The activities of the Association Baltic Coasts are related to the comprehensive environmental sphere, while emphasizing both scientific research and practical activities.

The main areas of activity of the Association Baltic Coasts, implementing projects funded by both the state and local governments, and the European Union, are related to:

Ecosystems and the services they provide;

Economic assessment of natural resources

Biodiversity;

Climate and resource policy;

Coastal erosion and integrated coastal planning;

Support to policymakers in decision-making and social dialogue on environmental issues.
