About

We are developing a rural women and family FFF frog fattening farm integration system.

Ferod 2019 is a R&D and consultancy specialized in frog farming and interested in RAS and IMTA freshwater aquaculture networking both for projects collaboration but also to develop an ecosystem around this blue bioeconomy sector that only decreases in the EU when it is the majority worldwide according to the FAO.

We want to recover traditional foods in a sustainable way and develop social and economic oportunities in depopulated rural areas. We bring more than 20 years of experience in the agrofood sector.

We are interested in any aquaculture and by-product valorization project. In particular, the frog produces a very interesting antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and healing collagen of high interest for cosmetics for which we would like to develop the entire value chain for its use.

We seek finance tools for research and innovation in a new farm integration scheme.

We are facing last major challenges in breeding, feeding and management in frog farming. We are working on a training and pilot plant to demo frog fattening process of froglets produced in our frog hatchery. EARDF finance tools allow young women to invest in FFF and we are working with banks in guarantees for the signing of loans required for FFF with integration contract.
