About

Łukasiewicz Research Network - Lodz Institute of Technology (Poland): a research institute, part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network. It carries out R&D and implementation works in the field of textile & leather technologies, material engineering, polymer processing technology, biopolymers, micro and nanotechnology, environmental engineering, digitalization within:

• 4 R&D Centres with extensive experience in the implementation and management of research projects, development works and implementations of innovative technologies & materials, innovative production processes, and sustainable solutions e.g. for the textile, chemistry sectors.

• 11 Testing Laboratories allowing a full assessment of physical, mechanical, chemical, microbiological and special properties of raw materials and textiles, leather, paper, packaging in accordance with the ISO, EN, PN standards.

• Experimental Production Department allows to test the developed technologies on a semi-technical and technical scale.

It is a member of the Oeko-Tex® International Association, TEXTRANET, Textiles ETP, EDANA. It cooperates with different target groups operating in TCLF sectors, authorities, NGOs
