About me
I am the Chief Research Officer at the Frontier Innovation Center, where I lead agricultural and biotech research focused on translating cutting-edge scientific discoveries into real-world solutions for sustainable agriculture. My expertise lies in plant microbiomes, desert agriculture, and agricultural innovation.
I support startups in designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and developing technologies that promote global food security and environmental resilience. I hold a B.Sc. in Animal Sciences and Environmental Studies from the Hebrew University, an M.Sc. in Medicinal Plant Cultivation from Ben-Gurion University, and a Ph.D. in plant microbiome research, where I studied the microbiome of the world’s smallest plant and its role in vitamin B12 biosynthesis.
Beyond academia, I have extensive experience in microbiology, poultry physiology, and genetics, gained through both research and industry collaborations. I also co-founded an organic farm in the western Negev, integrating sustainable agriculture with educational outreach.
