French SME with track record in exploitation. Our mission is to create, develop and commercialize innovative solutions for the environment and society. As an Non Profit Organisation, Strane Innovation aims to create a strong impact on the world. We are specialised on 4 topics of the Sustainable Development : circular economy applied to industrial waste, protect water resources and prevent floods, promote sustainable agriculture and protect biodiversity, social innovation and cognitive sciences Our success story relies on our work developed through 30 EU projects won over the last 10 years, usually as WP Leader or task Leader. We are running 3 operational activities based on the results of past EU projects: Seitiss (transforming industrial waste into circular products), Bluemapping (modeling flooding from runoff and rainwater), Newasys (reducing water consumption and reusing unconventional waters). Our main expertise for EU projects are: Exploitation ; Sustainability indicators ; Cartography and mapping ; Circular economy and industrial symbiosis ; Circular economy of water and wastewater reuse; Dissemination and Communication; Cognitive and Social sciences.

About me

Dr Nathalie Vallée (F) is head of Partnerships and Public Funding at Strane Innovation. She holds a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Institut National Polytechnique in Toulouse, France. She did at post-doc in plant Molecular biology in Korea and in the US for 5 years. Back in France, she took a position at Negma Lerads Laboratory (Pharmaceutical company), where she has developed, in collaboration with medical doctors and pharmacists, preclinical  and clinical trials to test medicinal products. At InVivo (largest French agricultural cooperative union), she was coordinating several projects with the different research and technical teams related to sustainable agriculture e.g. agricultural by-products and methanisation, the circular economy of farms wastes, antibio-resistance, and risk associated in animal nutrition and health, biocontrol, and the alternative of pesticide use. She has also developed partnerships between InVivo and research centers by developing scientific projects (H2020, CASDAR, ADEME) and initiated several industrial theses with French and international Universities (Brazil, Mexico, Vietnam, Portugal, Ireland).  At Strane, she is currently responsible to develop partnerships in national and international projects including HEU, H2020, Marie Curie and ERAMUS+ related to many topics (circular economy applied to industrial waste; protect water resources and prevent floods; promote sustainable agriculture and protect biodiversity; social innovation and cognitive sciences). She is the lead author of several scientific papers. Nathalie is fluent in English and French.
