## chachava

Nino Chachava is a Full Professor of Georgian Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design; She is a Head of the Department of Education, Science and Tourism of the Association “Engineering idea”. She Is the author of more than 50 articles dedicated to the problems of Seismic Risk Reduction, Digital Technologies, Sustainability in Architecture, urban Planning; Hospitality industry Development. She is a founder of a "training 3D design center" established in 2006, In 2013 - 2017 was National Coordinator of TEMPUS Project, In 2006-2008 - CoE Project “Dumas Cultural Route in Caucasus”.
In 2004, 2006, 2011 She was the organizer of International Architectural Summer Schools, Seminars, workshops - “BIASS 2011”, ‘Cultural Heritage and Natural Disasters’, “Water front Architecture”, “Green architecture”; Galata Review, Kala Review, etc.
In 2009 she participated as a researcher in the project supported by UNDP “Tbilisi - Seismic Risk Survey”. The results of this project were presented on the international conference and published as a brochure.
In 2006 she was a national coordinator of UIA projects – ‘Urban Settlements and natural Disasters”, “Architects and Disasters” in Georgia: In 2004 in the frame of these programs she was invited as a lecturer to Izmir Architectural summer school, Turkey by the International Union of Architects (UIA), Chamber of Architects of Turkey and “Union of Architects of Georgia”.
She participated in the development of Vocational program for Architect-operator in Georgia.
