About me
I hold a doctoral degree in Bioenergy and Bioresource with special focus on forest and agriculture biomass supply chains. Bioeconomy is equally important socio-economic domain that aims to develop clean solutions to replace fossils fuels used in textile, packaging, and many other industries. Finland is a frontier in the biomass, bio-based solutions R&D and piloting with many emerging SMEs in the sector. I started to be involved in EU funding proposals (co) writing toward these topics with particular focus on Cluster 6. I have more than 8 years’ experience and with over 11 successful projects. At LUT University we are a group of 6 grant writers that cover most of the Horizon Europe domains and Destinations. We aim to lead proposals but also partner to offer many in-house expertise at LUT University' various schools and departments. We offer laboratory facilities for biomass conversion and processing, researchers for sustainability analysis including LCA, and various innovations such as ICT solutions along the biomass supply chain.
