Hans-Henning Schuur

I bring a strong background in agri-food policy, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration. With a degree in agricultural sciences, I’ve worked in political consulting with a focus on agriculture, environment, and climate – gaining a deep understanding of how policy shapes transformation.

In economic development, I supported innovation and network-building as Deputy Managing Director of a regional agri-food organization, with a focus on alternative proteins and value chain development. I also contribute at the European level as a member of the EU CAP Network Focus Group on new plant-based protein sources.

I focus on building meaningful partnerships and turning innovation into real, scalable transformation – always with the goal of delivering value for companies and the agri-food and bioeconomy sectors.

As COO & Head of Partnership at RootCamp in Hannover, I take a leading role in expanding strategic partnerships and strengthening our innovation ecosystem. My mission is to connect startups, corporates, and key stakeholders to drive impactful collaboration and long-term sector transformation.
