The National Paying Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture is Lithuania’s accredited institution for managing EU and national support in agriculture, rural development, and fisheries. With over €1 billion disbursed annually to 140,000+ beneficiaries, the NPA plays a key role in implementing the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and ensuring effective fund management. Core Expertise & Activities: Administration of EU-funded support measures (e.g., direct payments, rural development, fisheries) Development of digital tools and IACS for efficient fund management Stakeholder engagement, communication, and capacity building Active participation in EU-level discussions on policy and administrative simplification Experience in proposal writing and coordination under Horizon Europe and other funding programs We are interested in contributing to innovative, multi-actor projects focused on sustainable agriculture, digitalisation, climate adaptation, and rural resilience.
