About me

Graduated in Biology from Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, she chose to leave her family business to pursue her true passion: the scientific observation of what is unseen and the analysis of elements shaping our lives without our awareness. Before graduating, she joined ENEA as an intern, where she conducted research on hazardous substances such as benzene. Over the years, she deepened her studies in food science, pollution, and human nutrition at the University of Bologna.

Drawing from her experience, she returned to her homeland to establish and lead BonassisaLab SpA, now one of Italy’s largest independent food safety laboratories and a benchmark for the national agri-food industry. Her passion for biology has been a driving force behind BonassisaLab’s success, earning it recognition among the 100 Italian Excellences in 2023 and the Italy Food Awards in 2024, regarded as the "Oscars" of Italy’s agri-food sector.
