About

Agma is Israel’s center for stream restoration, runoff management, and flood risk mitigation. Established through a multi-agency initiative involving government ministries, environmental and drainage authorities and civil society, Agma serves as a strategic knowledge and innovation hub to promote best practices, tools and practical knowledge using the integrated catchment approach.

  • Integrated Catchment & River Basin Management

  • Professional Capacity Building (Courses, Webinars, Study Tours, Podcasts etc)

  • Development of Assessment Tools for River Restoration

  • Coordination of cross sectoral local consortium include including local, regional and central government, civil society, academia and other organizations.

  • Learning Platforms & Case Study Repositories for local professional community of 6000 policy makers, researchers and practitioners.

  • Strategic Dissemination & Community Engagement
