About

The Polish Bioeconomy Hub, co-coordinated by the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB), is a nationally recognised platform fostering collaboration between research institutions, ministries, regions, industry, farmers, youth organisations, NGOs, and education providers. Our mission is to accelerate bioeconomy transformation in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe through knowledge exchange, network building, policy support, and innovation facilitation.

In the context of this call, we offer e.g. (further to be discussed):

  • Operational ecosystem experience in running a multi-actor bioeconomy hub with national and EU-wide outreach;

  • Strong connections to R&I projects (e.g., CEE2ACT, PATHWAYS, BIOECO-UP, WAB 2.0) and networks such as BIOEAST and national bioeconomy platforms;

  • Expertise in developing and testing tools for stakeholder engagement, digital networking, and policy dialogue;

  • Capacity to co-develop and localise multilingual communication and education tools, including youth engagement, training for startups, and support for informal education initiatives;

  • Ability to facilitate linkages between science, industry and governance, including through policy pilot actions, social innovation, and regional roadmapping;

  • Readiness to host open innovation workshops and demonstration events, including study visits and access to national infrastructure;

  • Experience in coordinating or supporting lean governance models and platform sustainability strategies based on public-private cooperation;

  • Engagement of investors and SMEs in the bioeconomy space via existing national initiatives and startup support schemes (e.g., WAB 2.0).

We are eager to join a strong, diverse consortium and contribute to the implementation and sustainability of an EU-wide bioeconomy engagement platform, particularly by representing the voice of Central and Eastern European actors and by helping align national and EU-level bioeconomy strategies.
