About
The objective of the project is to develop innovative methods and processes for the optimization and prediction of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) rearing systems, utilizing diets based on food waste and by-products.
The development of such capabilities and methodologies will enable an increased use of food waste compared to the current practice, thereby contributing to improved efficiency and sustainability in such rearing systems.
The project will integrate tools and expertise from fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), image analysis, big data, entomology, microbiology and others.
