BIODIV- 10. Supporting the implementation of nature restoration measures for sustainable farming systems
About
Our contribution to the topic:
Our organization can contribute to the topic by connecting project objectives with real-world rural challenges and opportunities. With hands-on experience in agroecology, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable land management, we can support the implementation of pilot actions rooted in community needs. Our knowledge of local dynamics allows us to co-design solutions with stakeholders, ensuring relevance and long-term impact. We can also contribute methodologies for environmental education and participatory processes, drawing from our work in Living Labs and landscape interpretation. Additionally, we can facilitate access to rural environments for testing and demonstration purposes, helping translate theoretical approaches into concrete results that engage both local communities and technical partners.
Our specific role in the project:
We bring strong expertise in rural sustainability, environmental education, and community engagement. In a local Living Lab, we lead initiatives in agroecology, biodiversity conservation, and rural entrepreneurship through trials with extensive livestock and aromatic crops. We offer access to agricultural and forest areas, and maintain close links with farmers, breeders, institutions, and businesses. Our team has solid experience in communication, dissemination, and organizing workshops and training. We contribute practical knowledge, territorial connection, and strong outreach capacity to foster community-based innovation. We are flexible and ready to adapt our role to meet the consortium’s needs and support the project’s success.
