The project aims to develop scalable biotechnological and nature-based solutions for restoring polluted ecosystems impacted by industrial waste, agricultural runoff, pharmaceuticals, and climate change. By leveraging microbial technologies, phytoremediation, and AI-driven tools, The project will provide sustainable solutions to combat environmental pollution.
Pilot studies will be conducted in both EU and international locations (associated countries), ensuring adaptability to various environments and demonstrating the scalability of the project approach. The project will also engage local communities through citizen science initiatives to ensure the solutions are socially acceptable, economically viable, and aligned with circular economy principles.
