Cultura Impact Lab

Cultura Impact Lab is a Brussels-based practice specialised in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI). We work with private businesses, public bodies, international organisations, museums, festivals, media companies, audiovisual producers, trade associations, foundations, think tanks, and research institutions across Europe and beyond — spanning the full spectrum of the CCI, from cinema and audiovisual to music, live performance, digital arts, publishing, fashion, design, and architecture.

Based at the heart of Europe — home to our headquarters and the world's primary hub for international institutional exchange — we give our clients privileged access to European institutions, international networks, and the business intelligence that flows through the sector, from day one.

What We Do
We bring together the rigour of a business consultancy, the forward-thinking energy of a think tank, the hands-on commitment of a project partner, and the structured support of a coach and incubator. Our expertise spans the full value chain of the sector: business consulting and management, strategic research, public affairs, and the design and delivery of EU-funded projects.

Every engagement is tailored to our clients' needs. We design bespoke services for the development of EU-funded projects, take part as partners within consortia, and lead work packages on behalf of our clients and partners. We are always looking for new partnerships and are actively seeking opportunities to join consortia on upcoming EU calls.

How We Work
Our model is built around flexibility, giving organisations access to senior, multidisciplinary expertise in the way that best fits their needs, timeline, and resources. We start every engagement by listening — understanding our client's organisation, challenges, and ambitions — before designing an ad hoc service, never a one-size-fits-all template. We apply the McKinsey Forward Program's method: understand the issue clearly, break it into its key parts, focus on what matters most, build a simple plan, and bring everything together into clear, actionable recommendations.

We adapt to how clients want to work with us. We act as fractional partners, providing senior expertise part-time, without the cost of a full-time hire. We also offer a standby model — a subscription-based pool of vetted resources ready to join your team when workload peaks, giving you a dedicated project team on demand. Beyond this, we step in as interim managers with full operational ownership, take on sustained leadership roles for longer-term mandates, and coach the development of projects, startups, spin-offs, and innovation initiatives. When the right opportunity arises, we also take part directly in consortia and ventures, and we invest in early-stage startups active in the cultural and creative space. All of the above is available in-house in Brussels or fully remote, globally.

Recognitions
In June 2026, Cultura Impact Lab was awarded the Ecodynamic Enterprise Label (two stars) by Bruxelles Environnement, the Brussels-Capital Region's environmental agency, recognising our environmentally responsible practices across energy, waste, mobility, procurement, staff engagement, and governance.
