About me
Dr Meghna Ramaswamy is the Director of the International Office at the University of Saskatchewan, where she advances the internationalization portfolio for the university. She loves interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds, and uses these deep learning experiences to build vision and strategy. Her awareness of community, international development, research, and funding initiatives has enabled her to streamline strategies effectively and grow the international portfolio for the University of Saskatchewan significantly.
She has been at the forefront of international research and global partnership development for over 15 years and has many years of experience to foster collaboration and partnerships across sectors. She is passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) firmly believes that as an international educators, we are stewards of the public good, and that we need to embrace and celebrate our common humanity. She strongly believes that diversity supports processes to be democratic and leads to good decision-making.
Meghna was educated in the UK and has a BSc in Microbiology from Kings College London, MSc in Virology from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD in Clinical Infection from University College London. In her spare time, she enjoys birding, and collecting antiques.
