The Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI), leveraging its significant contributions to the national economy, stands as Turkey's largest chamber of industry with nearly 24,000 members. ICI serves diverse sectors, including textiles, machinery, chemical products, electrical equipment, and metal goods, positioning itself as one of the most influential representatives of the Turkish industry. The value-added by ICI members constitutes 33.8% of the total value-added in Turkey's industrial sector. As a non-profit organization, ICI acts as a crucial link between industry and government, playing an active role in the legislative process and providing industry feedback on draft decrees and regulations. ICI maintains strong relationships and has significant influence with regional administrations, municipalities in Istanbul, and other business organizations. ICI focuses on several key areas: R&D and Innovation, Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry, University-Industry Collaboration, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Resilience of SMEs, Internationalization, Economic Analysis and Foresight, Environment and Energy, Local Production, Vocational Training, Future of Work, and Legal Documentation and Reporting Services. ICI actively fosters both national and international partnerships and collaborations. As an Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) partner, we leverage a broad network to enhance our members' access to global markets and support international R&D and business collaborations. ICI also is a partner of the AI EDIH Türkiye consortium supporting the twin transition of the manufacturing sector. ICI aims to build strong partnerships to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for industrialists and stakeholders. We are open to collaborating on various research and innovation projects including coordination and support actions targeting different industrial sectors.
