EIKA Group

Company (Industry)

Vilnius, Lithuania

The company is actively developing sustainability initiatives, improving processes through artificial intelligence, and adapting to changing trends in building functionality and urban design. One area of interest is circularity in construction. Right now, we have a donor building from which we plan to take resources and reuse in the same area under reconstruction, and share materials for other interested groups. Founded in 1993, EIKA Group has accumulated extensive experience in real estate development and management. Our story began with renovation works, a retail store for building materials, and the construction of individual homes and the first-ever cottages in Lithuania. Eventually, it grew into developing skyscrapers for businesses and entire residential neighborhoods. Today, alongside our core activity of real estate development, we also develop new technology, invest in reorienting all operations to achieve maximum sustainability, produce solar energy, provide accommodation services, manage investment funds, and invest abroad. Since 2017, EIKA Group has been running an internal innovation programme. Over the past five years, EIKA has demonstrated significant progress in the areas of digitilisation, IT infrastructure and sustainability. In particular, the number of IT infrastructure applications used for construction and design has increased, the finance department has acquired advanced analytics and reporting capabilities, and the in-house IT products developed have shown potential for commercial application. In addition to technological solutions, the company is actively developing sustainability initiatives, introducing web-tracking tools for market reviews, improving processes through artificial intelligence and adapting to changing trends in building functionality and urban design. Areas of interest: Concrete with a smaller CO2 footprint; Wood structures; Various building assemblies, modules; Designing for easy dismantling and re-purposing in the future; Bio-based materials, their use in construction and interior design; Building circularity - technologies for dismantling, treatment and reuse of the removed resource, expertise; Energy efficiency.
