X-Ray Company to Identify Food Waste Within Bags in MRF - Stockholm

Hossein Shahrokni

Director of Research at LocalLife Sweden

Stockholm, Sweden

About

Hi,

We are helping the public municipal waste company SVOA in developing a Gain-as-you-recycle/Pay-as-you-throw system in Stockholm. The first part is ensuring that existing green bags designed for food waste actually have food waste in them and nothing else. They are transported to RUS Stockholm which is as Material Recovery Facility. We are looking for a partner that can help us determine whether or not the green bags actually contain food waste or if they have been misused for other purposes. This will determine their treatment solution.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Please contact hossein@locallife.se and raeesah@locallife.se with your suggestions.

Sincerely,

Hossein
