About
Product
Colossus 2.4 is Shark Robotics’ next-generation heavy-duty intervention robot for high-risk industrial environments. Compact, rugged and fully electric, it is designed for sites where heat, smoke, toxic exposure, confined access or structural risk make human intervention dangerous or delayed.
Operational value
For industrial operators, oil and gas sites, railways, logistics hubs and critical infrastructure, Colossus 2.4 provides remote intervention capability before conditions are safe for human teams. It helps contain incidents earlier, protect personnel, reduce asset damage and support business continuity during fires, technical accidents or infrastructure emergencies.
Use cases
Building on Shark's experience with end-users in more than 20 countries, the platform can support firefighting, cooling, remote inspection, payload transport, tunnel or rail intervention, hazardous area access and post-incident assessment. Its modular architecture enables dedicated configurations, including foam projection for oil and gas fires, rail-track adaptation for subway or tunnel environments, and mission-specific payloads.
Performance and data
Colossus 2.4 combines high mobility, heavy payload capacity, hot-swappable batteries for extended operations and embedded mission data logging. This supports operational reporting, training, maintenance planning and future AI-assisted functions, while helping HSE, emergency response and site security teams improve preparedness.
Procurement
Colossus 2.4 can be acquired through standard CapEx procurement or leasing models. This gives industrial customers flexibility to equip high-risk sites, pilot the solution across selected facilities, or scale deployment progressively across a wider asset portfolio.
